Whats new in version 1.90:
- Bug fixes for visual distortions when using DropCopy via the services menu in the Finder
- New graphic in menu bar to show when DropCopy is compressing something
- DropCopy now tracks when you are away from the computer and will post notifications of recently received files when you arrive again
Publisher review: DropCopy allows easily sharing files between Macs and DropCopy connected to the same local network or Internet. Simply drag the file to send to the window interface (a circle surrounded by a halo), and select the recipient's name among those proposed. Voila. Receive the corresponding file in the folder it has defined as the inbox.
Warning: launch the software, the detection of potential recipients is not always automatic; must proceed from the Preferences menu, manually specify the IP addresses of the Mac to join.
